It's Raining Chatolim and Kelevim!

Thunderstorms in Tel Aviv! I have never heard thunder so loud, seen lightning so close, or experienced droplets of rain that could fill a measuring cup! It's intense! My Uplan was canceled yesterday due to rain, and today my volunteer position at the soup kitchen was off! As a seasoned woman of the rain, it makes me laugh that these tough Israeli's don't know what to do with themselves when the rain comes pouring down. I like that everything shuts down though, because when it rains, all I want to do is stay inside, watch movies, and eat hummus anyway!

Tel Aviv, Israel

Two new beach friends!
My new friend Tomer and me on the beach at sunset!
So happy!
Banana Beach, 3 minute walk from my apartment!
The cafes sprawl out into the sand. I sat and drank a beer with my toes in the silky soft sand!
Shuk HaCarmel. One of the biggest open markets in Tel Aviv, steps away from my front door!
Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, pickles, hummus, tahini, and eggplant- all from the Shuk!
Falafel and pickled veggies. Sooooo good!
My kitchen in the heart of Tel Aviv.
The living room.
Every Tuesday and Friday there is an outdoor artist's market.
Pronounced, "penis".

Gorgeous Greece with Hanni and Virginia!

A beautiful church on Santorini!
Greek salad, grilled squid, grilled octopus, mussels, french fries, and wine.
We sat right at a small port by the water in Santorini. Mmmmmm...
(don't look Dad!)
Waffles with nutella and ice cream on a rooftaop garden in Athens!
The Acropolis at night!
Santorini Sunset.

On a boat ride from Santorini! We had just taken a dip in the ocean. I was afraid of sharks, but I made it out alive.
From the boat we stopped at an old volcano where a boat hand showed us around, and told us how the Greek men are, "the sexiest in the world...."
Sister love!
Hanni and myself at a church by the Red Beach!
Me, outside our Santorini hotel room.
Greek salad, Mythos beer, mythos salt and pepper shakers, by the beach in Naxos!
We took an amazing bike ride around the island of Naxos.
The acropolis.
